Simone Palucci
Simone carries out his activity mainly in Italy, taking charge of the selection, coordination and management of the Italian suppliers.
The experience acquired first in the furniture sector and then in construction, together with the in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing regions in Italy, are the basis of the problem solving skills used in the Design Assist and Value Engineering activities that are often requested by our clients.
During the execution of the order, he ensures that the design specifications are implemented by the production team, and that lead times are respected, supervising the various phases of the production process to identify any critical issues from day one right up to the shipping of the finished product.
Simone oversees the coordination meetings between Suppliers and Installers, identifying the items that are to be pre-assembled in the workshop vs onsite, and coordinates production and shipping priorities according to site-specific installation sequence requirements.
The frequent commuting between the United States and Italy often allows Simone to be physically present at Design Team meetings and site inspections to check on installation progress and material quality, identifying any critical issues that may have not been detected in process, relaying them to the manufacturing team in real time.
Arianna Wellons
As the US based partner in the company, Arianna oversees all coordination between the Design Team, the GC and the manufacturing team in Italy from the initial design assist phase, through to execution and final delivery.
After completing her Degree in Architecture and MA in Urban Design in London, she continued to work in the design and architecture industry in the UK before moving to New York in 2013, where she got involved in the design/build construction world.
Her background in architecture and experience in the US construction industry for the last 10 years allow for a profound understanding of client priorities, expectations and schedule necessities, allowing to streamline the entire procurement process.
Arianna attends all site coordination meetings and is actively involved in the shop-drawings phase ensuring all deliverables, from drawings, to samples to product data are submitted in a timely fashion and that all information is relayed to and from the manufacturing team.
Her involvement in every step of the project allows for any conflict or discrepancy with onsite conditions to be immediately discussed and resolved with the the GC and Design Team limiting impact to schedule and ensuring each project is completed on time.
